i love them both
You know, in my story Cold (Ragetti's POV)and All That You Love (Pintel's POV) i mention that they're related. People always comment, "are they related? i never knew that!" and im like, "OMG am i really this geeky to know that? LOL It was mentioned in an interview with them"

Yea they prob did make it up, but as an actor, I know that we make up every possible thing about our characters, even if we're not a main character or the director gave us anything to work with. Besides, I like reading backstories to characters I like, so knowing that they worked with the idea of them being related (and not gay lovers lolz) was cool to me.
